Who We Are ::

OMBG is an entertainment production team that specializes in promoting independent music, pop culture and video game news. OMBG’s flagship project is their podcast “Old Man and Bitter Girl Podcast”, which features underground music mixed with social commentary and video game news. In addition to the podcast, the team also produces regular blogs, and more recently, live streams and videos as well as an upcoming print zine that will be distributed bi-anually.

We are the ONLY podcast that focuses on independent music, art, video games and pop culture together, as well as the only podcast in Texas advocating independent music that has a consistent recurring show.

What We Can Do For You ::

Because of our varied projects, sponsorship from your business will grant you more than an ad, it will grant you a presence online, through print as well as specialized personal mentions and “interaction” with our ever growing popular podcast and our faithful listeners.

Because we are a grassroots independent project with unlimited potential we are only targeting a limited number of prospective sponsors who are independent themselves.

How We Will Do It ::

The sponsorship packets are grouped into 3 price packages, each designed to give our sponsors the most value for the option they want.

Our exclusive offer to your business:
Because we offer our sponsors a “no competition” promise, we pledge to not solicit any other “like businesses” while this offer is on the table.

Podcast Ad Space — We only allow a limited number of active sponsorships to ensure that we remain in control of our content and topics.  This also allows for our sponsors to receive the air time and attention that they deserve.  Sponsors will be rotated weekly for podcast advertisements to ensure that there is only one sponsor mentioned per week.

Web Ad Space — This can be found under our featured artist section on the left hand side bar of our website.

Zine Ad Space — This will be dispersed throughout the zine.  The zine is put out in the Fall and Spring of each year.

**  The interaction with your business will be discussed with you to tailor to what you do, most commonly in the form of an “interview” or “Top 10” planned by our entity and you.

Advertisement Specs ::

Below are the requirements for ad space.
Podcast Ad Specs –
Podcast Mention  – We will state at the beginning of our hour long podcast “This week our podcast is sponsored by [your business name here].”

Podcast Interactivity – We will work closely with your business to determine the best
way to give your business a 5 – 15 minute segment in the podcast.  This will vary depending on the type of business that you run.  Below are some examples.
- A segment dedicated to an upcoming event.
- An interview with a member of your business’s team.
- A ‘top 10’ that we will read on air.  This will include a mention of your business name.

Web Ad Specs –
- Must be in the form of a .gif with a transparent background or a .jpg with a black
background.  Keep in mind the website background is black.
- Must be at web resolution. (72 DPI)
- Must be 150 pixels wide and no more than 400 pixels in length.

Zine Ad Specs –
Business Card Advertisements –
- Must be in black and white.
- Must be digitized in .jpg, .bmp, or .gif format.
- Must be in CMYK at a high resolution.  (At least 350 DPI)
- Must be 2 inches in height x 5 inches in width.

Half Page Advertisements –
- Must be in black and white.
- Must be digitized in .jpg, .bmp, or .gif format.
- Must be in CMYK at a high resolution. (At least 350 DPI)
- Must be 4 inches in height x 5 inches in width.

Whole Page Advertisements –
- Must be in black and white.
- Must be digitized in .jpg, .bmp, or .gif format.
- Must be in CMYK at a high resolution. (At least 350 DPI)
- Must be 8 inches in height x 5 inches in width.
