Upcoming And Awesome

I just finished up a planning meeting with the Bitter Girl herself. Amid the bribery of a free whataburger meal, she likes to whip out the old mega planner and sync up schedules. Band stuff and podcast stuff soon become one and the same. But I got to hand it to Brea, this podcast, which originally started as a way for us to have an excuse to drink and play records has grown into quite the monster. We are already working on episode 23, that’s 23 straight weeks of heavy drinking, shootin’ the bull, and interviews. Not counting all the practice runs we did to test out the technology, and itunes compatibility. Since buying the equipment to be mobile, I have also noticed us traveling more than normal too. I mean it sometimes seems as though I am getting to know Dean and Allyn almost as good as my band. So I look at the events we have coming up, it all looks pretty good. A lot of trips, all shows mean I have to work. But work isn’t really work for me, I mean I get to check out awesome bands, interview them with any questions I want, and then the next week, play their music for you guys. That’s an awesome feeling to help out.
