After the screening of the documentary Kevin at the Victoria TX Independent Film Festival, film maker Jay Duplass was able to skype in to a packed house and participate in a Q&A with Kevin Gant.

The film Kevin is a look at Kevin’s quest to find his muse. Any musician can relate to the scary feeling when the muse leaves for any period of time.

At the Victoria TX Independent Film Festival, Kevin Gant took time to talk to us about being a subject in the documentary “Kevin”, being a musician, and the experience he has had this past year.
In Austin, TX in the early ’90s, Kevin Gant was the Duplass Brothers’ hero. They reveled in Kevin’s exploratory musical style and playful spirituality. But in 1995, Kevin mysteriously disappeared. Jay Duplass’ documentary debut explores who Kevin is, how he lost his inspiration, and what he must do to get it back.
