Check this out!! It’s the newest trailer for the upcoming reboot, The Amazing Spider-Man. I don’t want to sound cheesy, but I think the trailer looked, “Amazing?” Haha! As you can tell, this movie will be a lot more serious than Sam Raimis trilogy. It seems like Marc Webb is wanting to give the Spidey franchise a Nolan-esque Batman feel and make it as grounded in reality as it possibly can be. It’s looking like it’ll have a darker tone to it than any other Marvel movie with the exception of the Marvel Knights film adaptations(Punisher, Blade, Ghost Rider). It also looks like that the story itself is going to be derived from the Ultimate Spider-Man books than the actual Amazing Spider-Man that the name of the movie would suggest. The movie doesn’t come out for a few more months so there will be time for more post production and CG work, but I’m stoked about it!! I love Spider-Man, plain and simple. He is my favorite super hero of all time and by the looks of it, this new Spidey movie is looking to be pretty damned good. What do you guys think? Good? No good? Let me know!!
