Hmmmmmm….Interesting

So, I just read a little bit of news that there’s a rumor going around that GameStop will soon be selling Apple iOS products. So in the near future, you will start seeing iPods, iPads, and even iPhones in stock at your local GameStop locations. In fact, some stores have already started accepting trade ins for iOS products for store credit. This actually doesn’t come to me as much of a surprise. Apparently, Apple has been looking for more third party outlets to supply their products. And seeing as the iPad, iPhone, and iTouch all have gaming capabilities, it makes sense even though everything is digital download for those devices, but so was the PSP Go, and they sold those in GameStop stores. But the real question is, will GameStop carry the iPhone 5 when it comes out? If so, I will be trading in my 3GS for store credit and upgrading to the 5 when it comes out. And also, since GameStop will start carrying iPhones, will that mean that they will also begin dealing with AT&T for supply data and phone plans for the phones? I’m not sure, but I guess we will see in the near future. So what do you think about Apple selling it’s iOS products at GameStop? Do you think it will increase sales for the video game store?
