Bio :: Commending The Fallen (formerly known as Written in Blood) was formed in the small town of Edna, Tx. Keeping the deathcore scene alive in south Texas with brutally slow breakdowns, sick two steps, earshattering screams and backbreaking growls. While keeping to their Christian beliefs they speak of positive ideas while staying as heavy as can be. When the rest of the world goes soft Commending The Fallen will become more and more brutal. They have performed in a bunch of venues in the surrounding areas and have branched out to other cities such as San Antonio, Austin, and Houston. In 2010 the band suffered a loss of a longtime member and friend who wanted to explore other options. Instead of falling back the band regrouped with a new drummer, a slight lineup change and with the addition of their manager they have taken south Texas by storm and have gone from under 200 fans to over 1000 fans in a short months. They have recently recorded their first official LP “Corrupted Earth” at Dead Room Recordings in San Antonio, who is noted for recording bands such as Silence the Messenger. Commending the Fallen have fans from all over the country and many other countries. With their first album and more bookings to come whats to stop Commending The Fallen from taking over Texas, and soon the world, one person at a time.
