You Still Have Some Time!!

Hey guys,

As you remember from our last episode, I said that RTX 2012 pre-order tickets will end on June, 15th. Well, Rooster Teeth has extended online ticket sales for another week! So now the last day to buy your ticket online is Friday, June 22nd. So if you were still on the fence about getting a ticket, you still have some time!

And stay tuned as there will be a big announcement regarding RTX this Monday.

RTX 2012 is July 7-8 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, TX. Buy your tickets at rtxevent.com.

RTX Badge Information

Hey guys, here’s some info about badges for RTX 2012. Badges have officially been shipped from the Rooster Teeth office for those who have already purchased them online. For those who have not, you can still order tickets online until June 15th. After the 15th you will have to purchase your ticket at the door on the days of the event. So you WILL be able to go even if you keep forgetting to buy your ticket online.

BTW, last night was the Season 10 premiere of Rooster Teeth’s flagship series, Red vs Blue. If you have not seen it yet, DO IT!! It’s going to be a great season so check it out.

Some RTX News!!

What’s up guys!?!?

Well, I’ve got some RTX news for you!!

First of all, if you haven’t bought a ticket already….do it!! Tickets are only $50! Which is cheaper than most other cons that you can go to!

Ok, well, every Monday, the guys at Roosterteeth have been releasing news about RTX. Two weeks ago they announced that members of the RT staff will hold an informative panel about writing. The panel will feature Burnie Burns and other writers on the RT staff that write the stories for Red vs Blue and the popular RT Shorts.

Last week, one of the first exhibitors was announced. Red 5 Studios will be showing off their upcoming sci-fi shooter “Fire Fall.” The game was first seen a PAX East this year and now RTX attendees will be able to play the game later this year.

And now this week, we have some special guests that have been announced. Some of the big hits of the internet and Youtube will be at RTX as special guests. These special guests are:

Rocco, Derrick, Shawn, Garrett, and Eric from Mega64!
Hannah Hart from My Drunk Kitchen!
Grace Helbig from Daily Grace!
Milana and Stevie from Live Prude Girls!
and
Adam Montoya, AKA SeaNanners!

So, RTX is really starting to look like a good time. There have already been some pretty cool announcements that have been made and I can’t wait to check back every Monday to see what else is in store!

Red vs Blue Season 10 Release Date and Teaser Trailer!!

Hey guys! Some Red vs Blue news for ya!

Well, Season 10 of Red vs Blue has a release date! The first episode will be released to the public on Memorial Day of this year!

Now the way that Roosterteeth does things with Red vs Blue is that the episodes will be released to sponsors of their website at 6:00 pm, 8:00 pm for community site members, and 9:00 pm for the general public.

I myself am a site sponsor, so I will be getting to see the episodes earlier then others. Haha! Suckers!

Anyway, along with a release date, wired.com has posted a teaser trailer for Season 10 that features classic lines from the beginning of Season 1 all the way up to a small line from Season 10. The character delivering that line at the very end of the trailer was made by the character “Sigma,” who is being played by Elijah Wood. For those who are familiar with the Red vs Blue story and have followed since the beginning, will know how big of a part Sigma will play in Season 10 just by the line of dialogue that the character delivers.

Here’s the link to teaser trailer of Red vs Blue Season 10!!

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! WE HAVE A RELEASE DATE!!!

That’s right! We have a release date for Halo 4!! But instead of me telling you, how about we we let our good friends from Roosterteeth share the good news, and give you a good look at the Spartan IV’s that you’ll play as in the Halo 4 multiplayer universe!

Some Videos I Talked About Recently

Yo! Here are some videos I’ve talked about recently.

First off, remember a couple of weeks ago when I talked about making unicorns in Red Dead Redemption without being in the Undead Nightmare DLC? Well, our friends from Roosterteeth’s sister site, Achievement Hunter shows you how.

Next we have the short interview with Morgan Spurlock and Holly from the documentary Comic Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope.

The next one is just one I find very funny.

And the last one I’ve got for you is the announcement trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3!! Check it out!!

Elijah Wood to Join the Cast of Red vs Blue Season 10

Yes, you read correctly. According to the Twitter feeds of both the Roosterteeth Podcast and Burnie Burns, who is the writer, and director of Red vs Blue and the owner and founder of Roosterteeth Productions, Elijah Wood(yes, Frodo Baggins of the Shire) will be providing his voice talents for Season 10 of the popular Halo based web series Red vs Blue. According to Burnie, Elijah will be voicing the character of the AI Sigma. Now, if you aren’t familiar with the Red vs Blue series, you may not know who or what I’m talking about when I talk about AI’s and what they have to do with the Greek alphabet. It’s about nine seasons of backstory I would have to go through so all I can say is, catch up because season ten’s gonna be amazing.

To say that Roosterteeth getting a big time Hollywood actor like Elijah Wood to come on and do voice work is pretty fucking cool.

I’ve been following Roosterteeth and Red vs Blue for many many years now and to see how they started the series, which was in a spare bedroom in Buda, TX and a closet in Los Angeles, CA, and now they are regulars at San Diego Comic Con and PAX, making commercial spots for Gamestop, and working closely with gaming companies like BioWare, Certain Affinity, and 343 Industries. And now they have gotten the talents of a well known actor to voice who I’m thinking will be a very pivotal character in this new season.

I was looking forward to Season 10 before, but now I’m really starting to get excited about it.
